Hattie's August Visiters and Adventures

I shall take my babydoll with the weird hair and push her very aggressively throughout the neighborhood, ho, ho, ho, hee, hee, hee, haa, haa, haa!

At the Cincinnati Children's Museum

Run Away!

The petting zoo at the Cincinnati Zoo with a goat and "a Daddy"

Our brief moment away from Hattie as we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary.

More of the Children's Museum

Time spent with our good friends from Virginia, the Butler family

We showed them several 'great' places in Cincy including the 'hood' (all sarcasm intended). As long as they held hands they were safe.

Cole and Hattie spending quality time together while reading

You're kinda funny, Aunt Bonnie.

Helping Daddy hammer

A visit from Daddy's cousin, Daniel, and his Aunt Marlene.

Wow, a fashion flashback to the 50's. This was one of GranGee's outfits.

Check out the incredible fuzz hair.

Yes, I'm this cheesy even first thing in the morning.

And mid-day as I chill in my phat family ride.

July- Full of Fun!

This is what happens when you give a child candy.

Hattie with one of her many cicadae.

"The plane, the plane!"

Really GranGee, I was walking around and this clown jumped out and stole my clothes. He did leave his clothes for me.

Visiting with Nana on the way to a family friend's farm.

She even got to ride a cow.

Strike a pose!

Swimming with Kristine (that is "a Sistine" in Hattie language.

A Sistine is so funny

Let me introduce you to my good friend babydoll!

Going for a walk with our neighbors "Owl" and "Adina" (Al and Janice)

One of Hattie's favorite pastimes, reading.

Pre-event photo.

And the gold medal in Synchronized Sipping goes to Elsie and Hattie

It's amazing how fast their feet grow at this age.

and their bottoms, too.

Hattie at the 4th of July parade. She loved all of the things (including candy) that were thrown to all of the children.

Yes, it did rain on our parade.

Hattie's Jolly June

Hattie was explaining to GranSnap that the 5' Black Rat snake on the corner of the deck was nothing to fear. I don't think he believed her.

A rip-roaring good time with GranGee and GranSnap!

A sleeping bundle of preciousness

The 17-year cicada brood provided plenty of opportunities for insect study as 5-6 billion cicadae descended on Cincy.

There is no better gift on Father's Day!

Hattie is taking daddy for a spin on her fancy tricycle.

How luxuriously cute!

Hattie is a little disgruntled that mommy is sharing the spotlight.

Hattie's own celebration of Mimi's graduation. Can you feel the excitement?

Mommy has taught me how to prune her flowers.

Is anyone ready for a luau? Oops, I forgot my coconuts.

Just chillin' in the backyard with my peony.
